An established, innovative digital agency in Manchester City centre are looking for a passionate, senior PHP Developer, who wants to work on some fantastic projects within a fantastic, fun-loving team of like-minded professionals.
Interested in Magento? You'll be trained up on the CMS, with the aim of gaining an official certification - with help from the company of course!
You’ll be reporting into the technical Director and aside from this, you’ll have the majority of control and a lot of autonomy in your work. You’ll also receive all the help and support you need, with the aim of further developing your skills and ultimately your career (via an agreed career development map).
What they are looking for:
•Zend and/or Magento experience (non-essential).
•Experience of REST, SOAP and other web services.
•MySQL.
•JavaScript + frameworks, including jQuery.
•Experience of managing and promoting effective use of version control systems.
•Experience developing, supporting and maintaining scalable web applications.
•Experience of the development lifecycle.
•Strong understanding of XHTML and CSS3.
What you’ll get:
•A basic salary of up to £40,000 and reviews twice annually.
•A fun and relaxed working environment in an ideal city centre location.
•Help to achieve relevant developer certifications and on-the-job training.
This is a key role, with the successful candidate ideally having a strong agency background and confident leadership qualities, to help drive the development team forward. There will be room to progress.
The agency has offices in Manchester, as well as internationally, opening up the option to travel. They have a varied client base, including firms from the retail and gaming sectors – to name but a few - and have featured in a number of relevant publications, due to outstanding work and commitment.
