Some help needed - Dependency Injection

I've written a (kinda) long blog post detailing my mess of code with a
project I'm working on, explaining how I'm failing to understand
making my first steps towards getting Unit Testing into a project, by
putting dependency injection into my code.

I know it's a bit waffly and rambling, but I was worried I'd miss something.

Having read your post and given your question I am sure you have already seen the following via google:
