need your urgent attention

My name is Kolajo Babarinsa from Nigeria, Im a web developer and I
have been working with it for sometimes now, and I dont really have
any problem. But now Im having some technical challenges I
will need your assistance on, and if explained I will be the most
happiest person on earth.
The challenges are as follows;
1. When I load develop my program on my localhost machine, I have no
problem with loggin problem, I used $_SESSION to store my variables,
but when I uploaded it, it was generating error message that "Warning:
cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output
started at login.php:4) in login_function.php on line 52 ". and what
happen on line 4 in login.php was that I started php script (<?php ..)
and what was on line 52 in login_funtion.php was that I started
session (session_start() ). I dont know how to handle this please
assist me.
2. I have problem on how to write, and make my program to be secured
i.e using HTTPS. my hosting package support it but I dont know how to
go about it, please enlighten me and or recomend a solution for me.

d number 1 issue, copy the session start to the First line on the
page. Starting a session requires that u dont display any content
before initiating it.
Number 2. There is usual a seperate folder for secure files. Just
upload ur files there. In most cases is "https" folder.
