Hello,

Can anyone please detail the steps to get ZZEE PHPExe to connect to a modern Oracle 11g\12c database?

Thanks,

Michael

Basically the steps are the very same as when you connect any PHP
script to Oracle.

Are you able to connect to Oracle from a PHP script running on IIS webserver?

Thanks for the reply.  For my current PHP apps I use the Zend Community Edition (CE) which comes with the latest Oracle driver.  Some years back I used to install Apache and PHP manually (and latest Oracle driver).  I have not done that in years.  I'll go search on Oracle's site for the PHP driver.

Was hoping I was not the first to do that with PHPExe (I cant imagine that I am BTW).

Thanks.

Wading through Oracle (they designed their site for Mobile users):
Here and here seem to be the best links for the OCI driver for PHP.

I'll doc what\how I make it work unless someone already has it documented and posts here.

1. PHPExe is 32-bit right?  I have to install the matching Oracle Instant Client and PHP OCI drivers.

2. Is a 64-bit PHPExe in the works?

Thanks.
