Yes, basically google groups is an awesome mail discussion platforms.
But yes, forums is handy. PHPDevShell V3.0.0 Beta-3 is almost done and
will include plugin examples.

Yes I would... or maybe I should ask what "being part of the team"
actually involves before I say yes!

I don't know how much I can contribute beyond what I am already doing
(suggestions and bugs).

Well, as you can see even though we are silent about it, PHPDevShell has
potential of becoming a very popular framework. We are covering a market
which no other framework covers. So we need all the official help we can
find.

We find that people spotting the potential now, is people who will stick
with PHPDevShell. So whatever you feel comfortable with will be come
your official team task. When you start becoming more comfortable with
the backend code you can help fix bugs yourself.

We especially need people for documentation, but this will come when
PHPDevShell V3.0.0 is stable. For now just hang around until you feel
what you would like to be officially named as part of the team. Like
official "bug coordinator".
