There are two flavors of phpdesktop: chrome and msie (IE). If you've downloaded IE version then the executables is named phpdesktop-msie.exe.

Maybe this is an issue with antivirus software. They may delete .exe files. However I don't see any issues with AV's and phpdesktop is checked with lots of AVs on virustotal.com. Below are the scan results for 31.8 and 47.5. Detection ratio is 0 for all of them.

Facing the same issue.

I've downloaded phpdesktop from https://github.com/cztomczak/phpdesktop/ with file named phpdesktop-master.zip

I didn't find any exe file in chrome and msie. Would you please look into it?

I think there is no AV issue at my end. I didn't get any warning while downloading. I usually download .exe files without any trouble. The file size of phpdesktop-master.zip is just 1.6 mb. Is the file size is OK?

Go to your My Computer - Local Disk(C:)-Program files(x86) /or (if you dont have (x86) then just goto Programfiles) - find the folder named InstallCreator, open. then open the ic.exe. done have a good day

just download the newest PHP from php.net, extract and replace the folder called php in phpdesktop. I'm using php 8
