hey everyone i have an embedded version of phpdesktop chrome with mysql embedded into it if you are interested. let me know and ill upload it to mega file or something. I still have to clean it up a little but all is functioning. instead of phpmyadmin im using adminer.php its faster in my opinion and not near as bulky.

Actually be great timing! Have a little project for some school related software which needs a mySQL database to function.

Send me ur email address and I'll send u a link to download it. Do u need imagick I also have working version along with pear. It isn't fully "completely" tested yet but pear appears to be functioning properly. Mysql is working perfectly.

With pear if u change the name of root folder you also have to change the path in php.ini file. Imagick works great as well.

follow the instructions in the readme.html file it is very basic and simple. i have include pear and imagick if needed.

Just stumbled upon PHPBrowserBox which embeds Apache/PHP/MySQL in a standalone app, anyone been using it? It's not open source, but seems to be free, see: http://phpbrowserbox.com/

The PHPBrowserBox needs many fixes, it doesn't support pretty urls, it cannot embed pdf, and it doesn't support some windows version, I would recommend PHP Desktop to have them all
