hi everybody,

i created a new repository phpcr-utils to move all optional executable
code we had in phpcr there. i also put the symfony2 console component
into phpcr-utils and started moving the various commands from phpcr-odm
and the phcpr-odm symfony bundle into the phpcr-utils so they can be
used without symfony.

i cleaned up the README for jackalope quite a bit, i hope its more
understandable now.

while this is the good news, the bad news is that you need to adjust
your autoloading, as phpcr-utils is a new repository in the lib
directory and it contains things jackalope relies on.

take a look at the README or the new src/autoload.<transport>.dist.php
files (most of the time you should not even need to copy them).

i did not yet update phpcr-odm to use the new version of jackalope -
those working on that thing please do not just update without testing...
i will do that soon too.

cheers,david

Can you publish this also on packagist.org so we can depend on it? The
QOM functionality there will also be useful with the Midgard provider.

hi bergie,

sorry, you are right of course.
just added the composer.json and told packagist its there.

ideally the composer.json would also specify this depends on *any* phpcr
implementation - not sure how this would be correctly expressed however.

cheers,david
