Hi all,

Is it possible to have a better rating system on the "Proposed
Sessions Ratings" on the website?

I can see insane fluctuations every time I visit the site, and I feel
it is not portraying a correct picture of the barcampers interest,
though I might be wrong.

Just a suggestion.

hi shreyas,

the idea behind 'proposed sessions ratings' is to give the speakers an indication about interest in their talk.. so that they can prepare properly.

Just to clarify :: a talk with maximum votes does not guarantee that it will happen... the talk are going to be served on first come first basis on the day of event.

regards,
Amit

It's always been this way (Barcamp style), and the fact that we are
getting a lot of support from Open Source community we might see a
small tweak to this format, but any change can only be seen on the day
of the event (9th Jan)..
