Transfer user credentials

Hi,

My requirement is our website is PHP and Apache and portal is JSP &
tomcat server
When I transfer a link from website to portal I want to send some user
credentials to portal

How do I give my php credentials to JSP or JAVA application (like
session)?
I’m using PHP on Apache server and JSP on Tomcat Server

So could you please suggest any solution?
