Drupal - SolrPhpClient Error

Hi
I installed Apache-solr module on drupal's sites/all/module directory and then downloaded and copied the SolrPhpClient directory inside Apache-Solr module. When i type http://my-site/admin/settings/apachesolr/index i got the following error
"Fatal error: Call to a member function getStatusCode() on a non-object in /home/citc/citc.lan/sites/all/modules/apachesolr/SolrPhpClient/Apache/Solr/Response.php on line 111"
Drupal version :6.33
Apache Solr version is up and running with example directory : Version 4.10
OS: CentOS 6.5
PHP : 5.3.3
Log file also does not produce any details.
Any ideas will be appreciated
