Hi,

I am considering changing from the Blitz template engine to Outline as
although I really do like Blitz, but using it as the base of a
potentially commercial application makes it hard for easy distribution
amongst different servers. So this is why I am looking to switch to a
purely PHP based templating layer, however the GPL license does not
allow for Outline to be distributed with a commercial application.
Have you or would you consider switching to a more compatible license
such as New BSD, MIT or LGPL?

Hello,

Outline was relicensed from GPL to LGPL about a year ago, so you can
use the library in closed-source / commercial applications, without
restrictions.

GLPL, as opposed to GPL, does not require you to license your
applications under any given license.

There's a good, human-readable article about the differences of GPL
and LGPL here:

Hi again,

I just realized that the archive and repository still contained the
old GPL license - I updated the license on Google Code, but apparently
never updated the license agreement distributed with the library.

This has been corrected. Sorry for the confusion.

Best regards,
