Hi,

I am trying the evaluation version in Windows 2003 server. After
installation the internal browser opened. Everytime the pointer goes
over the navigation bar (or any where near an icon) I receive a script
error.

Script error: line 4, char 1794, code 0, error: "Could not complete
the operation due to error 887600de."

Opening a php file seems to work fine, I can access settings, can even
use the menu bar. The problem only seems to be with the icon
navigation bar.

Windows display settings is set to Lowest (4-bit), would that have
anything to do with it?

These buttons are highlighted when mouse is over them using the Microsoft
DXImageTransform filters. I think it needs more colors than 4bit (perhaps
hi-color or maybe 256 colors is enough). I think this error is related to
the number of colors. We didn't think anyone would use such color settings
and didn't test in this mode.

But you can turn the UI off (and hence the buttons) if you have the full
version.

Got the same with 32 bit graphics running.  Well almost the same:

Line 3, char 1794, code 0, error: Class not registered

Latest version 3.1.0

It may not be the graphics, perhaps a dll which is missing from the Regsvr32 installation?
That could explain why an author of such software will not see the same problem.

Error only happens 'on mouse over' on the buttons as per reply set out below.

Nope.

I just did this in my system32 folder:

regsvr32 dxtmsft.dll

90% chance its the tool tips?

Rgds,

Anton
