[CC] Candidate introductions

Hi!

In an effort to not have the CC votes just be a popularity contest, I would like to know more about the candidates. Some of the candidates I know personally, some I know by reputation, others I don't know at all. While I can do some research into the candidates myself, I think it is would be good, and make the elections more fair if candidates also do a pitch of their own.

I did notice the Korvin posted a short message in his nomination thread, and I was hoping that the other candidates would follow suit. However, that did not happen. While there have already been a fair number of votes cast, I hope that such messages would help make up the minds of us remaining voters.

As such, I would welcome any and all of the candidates to give a reply with a quick elevator pitch for their candidacy: Who they are, why they're running, why they're a good candidate for the CC, what they want to accomplish in the CC, etc.

I went with [About Candidate] but on looking back right after clicking send (as always) I realized that [Candidate Introduction] would probably have been better. Needless to say, I think this was a good idea. Great suggestion, Magnus. :)
