Title: Sr Linux Admin
Location: Westlake Village/CA
Duration: 12 Months

 

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience and must have experience in SDLC and SCM

 

Job Responsibilities:
Uses your knowledge of technology and operational best practices to drive the design, development and implementation of operational standards and capabilities for connected services that enable highly available, scalable & reliable customer experiences
Develop automated solutions for product support. Includes creating, developing & managing the deployment architecture for the application.
Provide a seamless transition of the application from the Engineering teams to production support teams.
Work with monitoring teams to develop appropriate monitors for product.
Responsible for driving operational excellence for the connected services 
that a business offers to its customers to deliver an ""always on"" operation, year round, at the right cost
Analyzes and synthesizes a variety of inputs to drives the end-to-end incident management process for multiple offerings
Driving root cause analysis (RCA) and risk management processes
Driving ongoing improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools & processes BU and Intuit-wide

 

Qualifications – External
BS in Computer Science or related field
7+ years related experience
Linux Administration experience
Weblogic Administration
Monitoring tools setup and configuration
Troubleshooting production issues
Performance tuning of App/Web tier, networking
Experience operating a virtual environment (VMWare)
Expertise in managing middle tier and app tier
Scripting expertise - Perl, Python, PowerShell
