Technical Manager - Microstrategy
Location :San Francisco CA
Type : Contract long term
Rate : DOE
This individual will serve as the manager providing technical oversight of an agile team developing Microstrategy reports for North America brands.
As a Technical Manager you will be:
• Responsible for estimating/sizing of technical work, primarily focused on Microstrategy report development with a secondary focus on data movement and data modeling
• Guiding technical design activities to ensure design intent is clear and infrastructure impact understood
• Creating a work breakdown structure for and allocation of technical project resources including developers, architects, QA resources
• Performing some hands on Microstrategy report development
• Accountable for the technical quality of solutions
• Enforcing development & testing standards and practices
• Prioritization of business & technical requirements
• Driving Design Storming activities during project inception
• Coordinating the technical delivery of a team that consists of client employees and vendors
• Managing technical execution risks & issues
• Confirming testing strategy methods/approach (unit, system, functional, integration, performance) • Gathering, tracking, presenting code & QA metrics
