help please

i have tried to upload a photo to the group but i think my server droped out before completion. i am new to this and have never tried to post a photo before...could you please advise the best way to go about this.  i am an Australian living in Northern Thailand...have a new cannon 710is and would love some comments-critissem etc on the photos.

Brian,

Ok, it looks like at least one of your photos did make it to the group.
First of all make sure that you are veiwing the group here in "beta"
if you are not in beta than just look towards the top of the screen and
you should see something that says "veiw in groups beta" new. Just
click that and it will take you to the beta version of this group which
is much easier.

I went ahead and made a "page" for you here in the group, you can find
it here...

When you follow the link notice on the bottom left that it says "edit
this page" you can click on that to add more pictures/text and even
formating to the page that I made up for you. All I put in was that
one photo and a title. You can even put in links to your websites/blog
if you have any.

Once you are in edit mode you should see something that says image up
near the top left side, a popup window will come up with all the
pictures already dowloaded to the group. From here you would hit the
browse button which take you to all the file on your computer. Find
the picture on your computer and hit open and it should take it right
into the page.

This should at least get you started a bit... the good thing about the
pages here is that it saves different "versions" so if you screw up you
can always go back to an older version of the page.

Let me know if you still have any questions and I will be happy to
answer, also if you would like to have a picture displayed on the
welcome screen just let me know which picture and I will take care of
the rest.
