TENSYMP 2015
13-15 May 2015 | Ahmedabad | India
Organized by: IEEE Gujarat Section
Website:
http://www.tensymp2015.org
TenSymp is a theme specific international spring conference of IEEE Region 10 (Asia-Pacific). The previous two TenSymp conferences were held in Sydney, Australia (2013) and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2014). TenSymp 2015 is being organized by IEEE Gujarat Section during 13-15 May 2015 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat (India) with the theme 'Internet of Things'.
THEME: Internet of Things
The Internet of Things (IoT) envisions a self-configuring and adaptive complex system made out of networks of sensors and smart objects. IoT has become a household name these days because it relates to all "things" that could interconnect starting from a tiny toy to a giant turbine or a fighter plane. It covers all types of sensors, communication protocols, computational tools, techniques, devices, processors, embedded systems, data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, server farms, grid computing etc. It encompasses development of tools, techniques and standards for making these "things" intelligent, programmable and more capable of addressing the needs of human beings and/or other "things". Therefore IoT is considered to be the most disruptive technological revolution since the existence of the Internet. Projections indicate that over ten times more objects will be connected to the Internet by 2020 than the population of the world.
Call for Papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit original research papers (not being considered for publication elsewhere) in standard IEEE conference template (find it at
http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) describing new theoretical and/or experimental research in the following tacks (but are not limited to) of Internet of Things.
The length of the paper must not exceed 4 pages (including figures, tables, references and appendices).
Submissions that do not meet the page limit and IEEE format guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits.
All submissions will go through the blind peer review process if they do not contain plagiarized material (including self-plagiarism, find IEEE Policy on Plagiarism at
http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/plagiarism.html) and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (multiple submissions, find IEEE Policy on Multiple Submission at
http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/Multi_Sub_Guidelines_Intro.html). Conference Organizers will strictly follow IEEE guidelines on such matters.
Papers will be submitted through EasyChair (
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=tensymp2015). To ensure blind review all submission must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements or obvious references.
All presented papers that meet IEEE quality standards will be published in IEEE Xplore under the proceedings of TenSymp 2015. Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for publication in IEEE Internet of Things Journal (
http://iot.ieee.org/journal).
