Site search not bringing up any results

Hi there

I sell images from my website & rather have the customers search through individual galleries trying to find the images of themselves (marathon runners) it would be easier if they could just input there name and/or bib number.

However, even though photocrati states on their website that images in galleries can now be tagged (using the caption field when the image is in the gallery) it doesn't work! Even searching by the image title (eg: IMG_1234.jpg) wont find anything. The only things that sometimes show up in searches are blog posts, or, the actual gallery that the image is in.

Does any of this make sense so far?

This issue is driving me crazy..

I have a large half marathon coming up & will be uploading over 4K images (sorted into bib number galleries) for the runners to potentially purchase & without a working search function I'm pretty sure the site will crash under the load.
