[I'm just adding this feature request so it doesn't get lost. I don't expect any action on it till the payment issue is sorted]

Please add a filter option that uses the Android file information 'Rating', so that Photocloud only shows photos above, say, 4 stars.

Then I can show column 'Rating' in File Explorer, and edit that column directly there to give from 1 to 5 stars to a photo. It would be a really quick way of curating our photo collection to separate the excellent from the ordinary.

This feature request doesn't work on 2 grounds:
  1. The 'Rating' field in Windows O/S is not carried forward to Android O/S (or at least, I can't find it), so that field cannot be used for selection. There is a 'Favourite' field in Android, but that is just held internally by the Android Files app, so is lost if the app is re-installed, so that isn't an option either.
  2. This request goes against the idea of Photocloud being a minimal photo sorting and displaying engine, without a heavy back-end to access remote storage, and without any front-end to give more user options while the slideshow is running.
This feature should be implemented by the initial collection of data from remote to local storage, using - as I recommend - Foldersync Pro.

Foldersync Pro has many filter options. In my case, I've set it to only sync across files and folders with a '$' at the end of the name. So I just put a '$' at the end of the name of the folders and files I want.

Problem solved.
