Thanks for your response.
I think I didn't explain as good as I should.
I'm not saying that the app should start by pressing a particular button on the remote.
What I'm saying is that once you click on the apps icon, it should automatically start playing the last played slide show.
What are the advantages of adding this feature?
1. You can start your slideshow easily by just clicking on the app icon.
2. You can assign a button on your remote (by using an app such as "Button Mapper") to start the slideshow by clicking just a particular button on the remote.
3. You can add a routine in Alexa app (and other smart speakers) to start your slideshow by saying something like: "Alexa, start slideshow".
4. You can use a motion sensor and an Alexa routines to start the slideshow only if some one is in the room and stop it if there's no motion in the room for 10 minutes or so.
I could extend the above list with more useful scenarios but I hope you get my point how important it would be to add that feature to this already fantastic app.
It could be a new settings option like "On start, play the last played slideshow" or something like that.
I hope it makes sense and I love to know your view about it.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks
