Hi,
sorry - the "moments" feature is quite confusing. Please make sure to have the "Filter On Date" preference enabled, otherwise the entire moments settings are ignored. I'll improve the message to explicitly state this.
I use the nextcloud cloud and no matter what settings I try, I don't see the desired effect. I choose photos not older than 10 days and not newer than 10 and select the moments option. I would like to display photos from a period of 20 days around the current date from previous years or the current one. However, I get a presentation of all possible dates no matter what percentage of previous photos I choose. There are a lot of photos, about 400 GB. From the date range I choose, there are several thousand of them every day (at least that's what the memories application in nextcloud shows). What am I doing wrong? What do I not understand? --

Whoops, that means that all photos were filtered away - sorry about that :-D
That means that PhotoCloud is not able to retrieve the photo upload date from the underlying filesystem (NextCloud Cloud), for some reason. To verify this, I'll show the "FS Last Modified" date in the photo details, which is the date considered when filtering for Moments.
After the next version of PhotoCloud is released, could you
please take a look whether the "FS Last Modified" field shows some
sensible data?

When i enabled "Filter on Date" option stideshow doesn't show any of my photos and it just presents "please purchase" scrolling all the time. I will gladly do it if only I get the desired effect :-)

Damn, that means that the Owncloud client returns 0 as the "Last Modified" date, which means that the NextCloud client can not retrieve the "Last Modified" date properly, which means that the "Moments" functionality won't work unfortunately.
PhotoCloud works in a way that EXIF parsing happens much later on
than the "Moments" filtering; that means that "Moments" can only
take "Last Modified" as offered by the filesystem, which in this
case is not calculated properly by the NextCloud client. I can't
upgrade the client since I've patched the current one to also
accept self-signed certificates, and porting that is a non-trivial
task, not worth the time.
I've modified the code to try to read the "modifiedTimestamp" also, in addition to "creationTimestamp", but I have no high hopes of this actually working.
Meanwhile, unfortuantely there's no other way but to disable the "Moments" functionality.
