Dear Chaoying, Leyla, Ha Yun, Emma, and Professor Waller,

I have a special offer for you at Photonics West this year.

I’d like to invite you and your Chapter Members to join me in attending a celebration of twenty years of the Women in Optics publication prior to SPIE Photonics West on 26 January 2025 in San Francisco, California. The day will include keynotes, panels, and networking.

The lineup of distinguished speakers will share their wisdom on creating successful careers, harnessing superpowers, building resilience, building the best teams, and navigating the hidden curriculum. They cover a broad array of careers, from industry to academia and policy to publishing.

You can find more details about the celebration here and explore the program agenda here. I would like to offer a fee waiver for the registration fee to the members of your Student Chapter who would like to attend. Please send me an email letting me know who is seriously interested (first name, last name, and email) in attending and I will provide them with a complimentary registration.

Warmest regards,

-Cait
