There's an outdated download link on softpedia for Photini, the number 1 windows software directory.

But it doesn't download the latest version, it downloads the version from 2020.

photini has outdated download link on softpedia.png

I think that should be "the self-styled number 1 windows software
directory". (-:

That is probably one of my old Windows installers. They used to install
the latest version of Photini, even if the installer was older. They're
unlikely to work with recent Photini releases though, as a lot of the
dependencies have changed.

(I needed a Windows installer as Photini depended on a load of GObject
stuff that was difficult to install on Windows. Now you just install
Windows Python from python.org and Photini from pip and you're ready to
run.)

I've tried using the command line and now Photini won't install.
The photini-configure command doesn't work, after successfully using the pip install photini command.

I suspect the Python bin directory (where the photini-configure command
should be) is not on your path. It appears you have installed python for
all users, so the bin directory is probably something like c:\program
files\python311\bin - you might be able to run photini-configure using
its full path.
