Choosing Export Metadata not a option

I am attempting to export my iPhoto library from iPhoto version 9.4.2 using Phoshare 1.5.2. When I choose the metdata tab, all of the options to check boxes for exporting of metadata are grayed out. How can I export the metadata of my photo files?

Phoshare relies on a separately installed utility "exiftool" to do the metadata work. If exiftool is not available, the metadata options are disabled. You can download it from http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ - make sure you grab the .dmg file, not the generic source package.
