Hi.
Great little utility.
I personally use Phoshare to export all my iPhoto library to Picasa and then upload to Picasa Web Album (with the old mac tools you could add this feature directly to iPhoto by installing the uploader, but is no more supported by google).

Unfortunately, Picasa web album stil has a limit of max 1000 pics for each album.

It would be great if Phoshare could automatically (by option) split one iPhoto event in more Picasa folders according to a maximum number of photo in each folder

This has been asked before, but it doesn't fit very well with Phoshare. Phoshare is designed to mirror (or synchronize) your iPhoto library to a folder tree. Splitting by count would get very complicated and confusing: if you later delete a picture at the beginning of the album, Phoshare would have to start moving images between the folders on the next run to get the first folder backfilled to 1,000 images.

Hi
In general I agree with you, but for the specific purpose that i talk about (passing to Picasa just to upload) it wouldn't matter. Phoshare should do this just as a file operation, not synch. I mean, at the NEXT run if the option is off, additional folder are deleted and pics that were there are re-exported in the single dire (i tested this after splitting dirs manually), but i would mot care because i already did the upload.
In other words... i'm not asking synch... just post-synch file operation.

Anyway... your choice. Great app

Best regards
