Hi Tilman,
Hi everybody,

first of all: Thank you really much for all your efforts, Tilman.

And my question:
I just noticed, that the exported photos are just 72 dpi: the vertical and also the horizontal resolution... Th original files had 300 dpi :(((
There are such 300 dpi photos IPhoto Library in 'Masters' Folder.
There are  72 dpi photos IPhoto Library in 'Previews' Folder.

Is there maybe a solution to export the photos from the IPhotoLibrary/'Masters' Folder, BUT merging in these photos the Metainfos...?
I use IPhoto 9.2.3 (629.52)
(By the way, my original purpose: Change from IPhoto to a solution which is better for a kind of central-storing / NAS-Solution - I will probably use PiWigo -  However if anybody has a proven nice solution, I am looking forward to hearing about it... thanks.. ;) )

I wish you all a happy new year,
regards,
Tamas

Tamas,
Phoshare does not actually process any of the pictures, but simply exports the image files generated by iPhoto, from either the Masters (no edits) or Previews (if there are edits) folder. It looks like in your case, you made some edits to the photos, and so you are getting files from the Previews folder exported. The files in Master don't have any of the edits applied.

BTW, the dpi value is just metadata in the image, it has no effect on the actual size of the image. E.g. you aren't getting images that have 1/4 the resolution. The only problem is that when you print it, it might come up 4x as large by default.
