Helping Patients Manage Several Eye Medications
Suppose a patient has a few different eye medications, taken on a chronic basis.
The patient can’t keep track whether they used a drop, and when.
Setting up a spreadsheet can organize and aid the process, to enhance patient compliance with their meds.
Attached is an example of a patient that uses Restasis for both eyes, and 3 other drops just for one eye.
This matrix allows the patient to notate the time they use each medication.
That lets the patient keep track of when they last used an eye medication, or when they might have forgotten.
The same method could be adjusted to help a patient follow when they take systemic medications.
