This way text to Phonetic can be seen here for English words as well as for sentences.
Also allow function to choose  diacritics and macrons needed for learning tool.
How can I practice this PIE scheme on line?

If you mean adding Google Translate's text-to-speech feature to PIE, this is a feature we may add in the future.

If you mean adding PIE transcription to Google Translate, you need to contact Google to request this feature.

We may consider adding a feature for the user to customize which diacritics should be shown, but this isn't a priority.

You should practice the PIE scheme with PIE (the Chrome extension). You need to install Chrome first, and then choose a PIE edition to install:

Hello Ziyuan,

PIE does not work on a
1-WORDPRESS.COM blog written in English.
2-While writing E-mail or replying to thread.............Why?
Please Show instant PIE conversion as you type.

1. I have no problem using PIE with WordPress blogs. The following link can take you to a random WordPress blog. I tried some, and they're all OK with PIE.

2. While you type something in a text box, PIE won't transform your input. This is intentional. If your input is transformed to PIE, your outgoing email message, forum post, etc. will be encoded with diacritics, and this is often undesirable. Your email recipient, forum post readers, etc. may not want to see diacritics in your message.

U….up us un ugly uncle upon ultra urge upset urban …put…….unit urea use unite urine union usual……. umber under

O…other, our occur….. out owl onion olive odd on of off oil often orbit ought…. one once…… odd,on….open oven over oak oat old owe oath odor okay omen owner

Thanks.

Hi,

Short words may not have PIE diacritics for two reasons:

(1) They may be frequently used words such as functions. For example, function words like "may" don't have diacritics in PIE's Lite mode (the default mode).
(2) Short vowels don't need diacritics. For example, in "cat", there is no diacritic over "a".

For the words you gave, you should use PIE to see their PIE form. Try open PIE's Options page and switch to the Full mode to see a more  PIE form.

We don't need something like Phonetizer that you suggested because the PIE software can already automatically transform normal text to the PIE form.

Hello,

It shows only Enabled (lite mode)
How can I switch to full mode?

Why Umber doesn't show" è " ?
Why keep is not shown as  kēēp like in bŏŏt ?
Will this PIE scheme serve as Universal alphabet to write other world languages like Chinese and Hindi?

Umber may not exist in PIE's dictionary, hence no diacritics at all.

For "keep", one macron above an "e" is enough to indicate a long e. For "boot", the two breves are combined to indicate a long vowel.

For an universal alphabet, perhaps the International Phonetic Alphabet is more appropriate. PIE can only represent phonemes in English.

Hello,
English spellings are created by few persons while re-spellings are done by many who don't agree on sounds or symbols !!
PIE scheme may simplify all respelling efforts.
How one can type all PIE Scheme characters?
What's  link for  PIE's dictionary ?
You may post all PIE characters here with examples.

PIE characters are not intended for users to type or write. They're automatically displayed by the PIE software as a reading aid.

PIE's dictionary is inside the PIE software, but not exposed to end users.

The PIE scheme already shows all PIE characters with examples.
