Hello,

I was looking into the new Facebook plugin today and attempted to do
the example project. I was able to get it running and was able to go
through the facebook authentication with everything working fine.
However, after entering my Facebook credentials and going through the
login process and allowing my facebook app access, I get the following
error: "Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid". I
know I'm leaving something out, but can't figure out. Any help would
be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Al

Did you create the protocol URL ?
fb[FACEBOOKAPPID]

This is how the auth is sent back to your app.

Jesse

Hi Jesse,

Thanks for the response. If possible, can you give some info on how to
accomplish that? I did create the Facebook App ID and placed it in the
MyApp-info-plist and the index. What I'm basically doing right now is
getting the example running.

Thanks,
Al

When you place in your FB app id, make sure you include the string
"fb" before it.

fb[APP_ID]

this means:

fb123830459832049

I learned this the hard way.
