I ran into a problem with phonegap 1.4.1.

I am using a iPod tough 4G. On previous versions I was able to write
to the local file system via window.requestFileSystem. It worked
really well. Then I made some changes to my app and it stopped
working.

I developed a test case, which is effectively the FileWrite full
example on the phoneGap documentation page.
http://docs.phonegap.com/en/1.0.0/phonegap_file_file.md.html#FileWriter.
It does not work either.

This test case does work on an Android platform.

Has anyone else seen this behavior??

Thank you for your help in advance,
Bill Coppens

Are you giving the app some time to stabilize before calling all your APIs? Try adding a 500ms delay before using the filesystem and see if it helps. (Worked for me.)
