I may be late to the party - but I just today say a reference to navigator.app.exitApp() as a way to exit a PG app. Where is the navigator.app API documented?

It isn't, we should fix that. Can you open a ticket on Jira on docs?

Huge bump, but is there any documentation for this yet?  I still can't find it.

Yep - thinking about the same thing. Where is the doc for this and other navigator.app extensions? The other one I know is
navigator.app.backHistory().

It's not documented since it is not cross platform. If you want to learn what is available for Android then open up the cordova.js in your text editor and search for "cordova/plugin/android/app". There is actually a few good comments in the code that can help you figure out what is going on.

Would it be considered safe to use, or would you say that folks should not expect it to exist in future versions?

None of those methods are currently deprecated so they are pretty safe. A lot of that loadUrl will be superseded by the new InAppBrowser code though.

Hmm, ok. Seems a bit... unfair though. ;)  It is safe to use (as long as you know it isn't cross platform), but isn't documented. It kinda feels like it is in some No Mans Land in terms of folks actually using it. *Do* folks use it?

Btw, in terms of "not documented", I mean being mentioned online. I'm looking at the code now and the headers are fairly descriptive.

Yup, it is a bit unfair but I don't make the rules, such as they are. As you mentioned the comments are fairly descriptive.
