Phone, PhoneGap and audio file uploading

Hi

I'm (very) new to PhoneGap; working through examples and the Jonathan
Stark book. I would like to be able to create an app to play, record
and ...upload. I know that there is example code (http://
phonegap.pbworks.com/iPhone%3A-Record-and-Playback-Audio?
SearchFor=navigator.audio&sp=1) for playing and recording. However,
what are my options for uploading audio (say just short audio clips at
the moment), since the file upload field in html is not allowed on the
Iphone?
