I am observing some unwanted behavior with PhoneGap on iPhone:  It is caching the responses to JSON queries. Restarting the app, reseting the Safari data/history/cookies does not have any effect.  I have not tried to see what happens on Android.

How can I disable caching?  If there is no API for this (and there should be one), is there a way to access the UIWebView instance on iPhone?

Robert,

The caching you are experiencing is almost certainly normal browser caching following the HTTP spec. There are no separate cache controls.
