Problem with input types (text/password)

Hello,

I am using css property " -webkit-user-modify: read-write-plaintext-only;" for textboxes to disable the android's native textview on focus, but with cordova 1.9.0 this does not allow me to enter text on input controls.
Prior to cordova 1.9.0 it was working fine. You can reproduce this on android 4.0.3 emulator.

Thanks I went back to 1.8.1 for now which works with the android keyboard, but with swype when a word is selected only the first character is input to the field. Any ideas?
