auto capture camera

Hi

I looking to develop an app that can take a picture and auto save the image - similar to a frame burst - lot of applications out there of this at the moment so I know it can be accomplished

Looking at docs - it looks like the only way of getting the camera app to capture a picture automatically is to write a plugin for it

Im new to android so writing a basic program to do this is beyond me at the moment - are there any external sources out there that can do this
it look like the only plugins available for the camera are the camera plugin and the barcode scanner both seem to launch the native camera app
