Service and push notification are supported?

Hi,
I have to develop a new application for android, iphone and symbian
and I have to choose the framework.
The most important feature is that this application must be hide in
background (android/symbian service) or push notification (iphone/
bleckberry).
Is it possible with phonegap?

Push < 4.0 was serversid and would require you to have a web-service to
push notifications to Apple to push to you, Push 4.0+ has clientside
push notifications, but I'm not aware of any PhoneGap-iphone Plugin to
do this.
