I have an HTML application that I'm trying to convert to an iPad app
using Xcode and PhoneGap. The app runs perfectly in Safari, with
"Develop/User Agent" set to iPad and it also runs perfectly in the iOS
Simulator. But when I attempt to "Build/Run" in Xcode using the
PhoneGap template and using my iPad as the platform, for some reason
the application loads as if it was an iPhone. When I turn on a
JavaScript alert that displays "screen.width", "screen.height",
"window.innerWidth", "window.innerHeight", and "navigator.userAgent"
all of these things indicate that the device is an iPhone... when
running on my iPad!!!

I've wasted over 30 hours in the 2-1/2 days just trying to find an
answer to this problem, but I simply cannot figure out what's wrong.
Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?

Thanks for any help

Jack

Hello Jack,

Does your app launch in fullscreen mode or in iphone mode (1x/2x)?
You have to set it in your app settings in xcode, to publish it for both platforms (ipad/iphone).

Hope this helps.
