Black Background on iOS 7 app icon

When I install my app on iOS 7 I get a black background (my icon is a circle so the area around the app icon is black) on it when it should be transparent. Is there anyway to solve this issue? Please note that I am using Phonegap Build and version 2.9.0.

AFAIK, it's not possible to use transparency on ios app icons

Not possible. iOS icons must fill the entire area. Transparency is not allowed by Apple. [It is possible as a jailbreak tweak, but of course, you can't target that.]
