File and File Transfer Android

Major issue I have been having is that I can create copy of a file but for some reason, when I try to upload that newly created file using FileTransfer.upload, I keep getting error code 1 (File not found).  If I look in my file explorer, I can see the file there and view its contents.  Anyone else suffering with the same experience?
