Is it possible to grab volume up/down button events on the iPhone?  Does anyone have an example?
Thanks.

Google: phonegap ios volume button control

Eventually you get to phonegap volumeslider

VolumeSlider is a PhoneGap / Cordova iOS plugin that allows you to add a native volume slider (MPVolumeView) to your app.

If that does not work, let me know.

I think he is looking for
http://docs.phonegap.com/en/4.0.0/cordova_events_events.md.html#volumedownbutton
http://docs.phonegap.com/en/4.0.0/cordova_events_events.md.html#volumeupbutton

But sadly, it's only supported on BlackBerry 10, as far as I know it isn't possible to create a plugin that get the events

Yes, this was my conclusion from searching. It can't be done on iOS only Blackberry and Android.  :-(
Any examples of how to how to grab keyboard events on iOS (keyboard events from an external bluetooth keyboard)?
Thanks.

@ES & @jcesarmobile,

For  some reason,  today, I decide I want to validate more the events. The docs say there are 14 events I can captue. I will be testing them all - especially iOS. However, I only have an iPodTouch running 8.3. So, I have no way to test older devices - prior to 8.3.

I'll post my results later today or tomorrow. It is 4pm Mountain Time. I am in El Paso, Texas.
I'll post the results here, and blog later.

Couldn't you use the emulator? Yes, I know it's not exactly the same as testing on-device, but with Apple and Xcode, it's a lot closer than what you get with Android.
