Phonegap and wordpress connection

Hello,

i have a wordpress that I would like to convert in a phonegap app to
distribute in an Apple store.
My question is if anyone noes how can I extract my Data From WordPress
Database and Convert it Into an iPad / iPhone app.

I now i need a php conection to the server and Ajax request and all of
that, but i'm a newie, and i'm searching for any Tutorial, step by
step, or any information or a book where to find such information, so
that i could learn ?
