SPRING OPEN HOUSE & PLANT SALE 🌱🌼🍐
Saturday, May 18. 10 am - 1 pm.
POP Learning Orchard @ The Woodlands,
4000 Woodland Ave.
Things are warming up, and that means it's time to celebrate! Join us in the sun, hang out with some trees, and eat plenty of delicious snacks.
Most of our time is spent working at partner orchards all around the city, so it's a great pleasure when we can invite the community to join us at our "home base" to welcome and celebrate the Spring.
Stroll through the Learning Orchard, explore the nearly 100 trees, connect with us and the community, learn about our hives with the Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild @phillybeeguild enjoy some tasty snacks, and peruse our edible and useful plant sale.
Plants available for sale will include figs, blueberries, elderberries, chokeberries, and a range of other fruiting trees, shrubs, and vines, as well as some perennial flowers and herbs. The final list will be posted on the event page on our website by Friday, May 10th.
We're also thrilled to have Sistah Seeds @sistahseeds at the event, who offer heirloom vegetable, herb and grain seeds from across the African Diaspora, with a focus on African-American, Afro-Caribbean, and West African cultural crops.
The Open House is a free event but donations to support POP’s ongoing programs are appreciated.

ALL ARE WELCOME, REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED!
