Dear POP Orchard Partners,
From bumper harvests to historic droughts, we want to hear how your orchard year went! As we are putting our orchards and gardens to bed for the winter, it is a good time to evaluate this year's successes and challenges, which will help us make plans for next season.
We are writing to request that you please take some time (about 30 minutes) to respond to POP's annual season's end orchard survey by Wednesday, November 20. All participating orchard partner sites will receive a jar of POP honey and a requested orchard item as a thank you, including pruning tools, hanging scales, organic sprays, etc.
Help us help you! This survey gives us the ability to better understand the successes, challenges, needs, and value of urban orchards, as well as improve our educational offerings and ability to obtain and direct funding into programs that support your spaces in the most efficient and beneficial ways possible. This information is vital to POP in providing better support for our partners and creating a successful community of healthy, productive orchards in the city. Please answer as honestly and accurately as possible, estimating where necessary. If you have questions or challenges completing the survey, please contact me with questions (phil@phillyorchards.org).
Only one response per orchard, please. In most cases, the survey should be completed by the lead orchard caretaker or contact from the community orchard partner group. In some circumstances, a Lead Orchard Volunteer may complete the survey on behalf of the partner group, but please coordinate to confirm there are no duplicate submissions. If you are for any reason unsure if you should be completing a survey, please ask!

Thank you for all you do in your communities and growing spaces. We look forward to incorporating your feedback into our approach to next season and hope you have a peaceful and safe winter.
Sincerely,
Simone, Sharon, Phil, Kim, Indy, Hannah, Deja, Corrie, Caro, Amanda, and Alkebu-Lan
