Orchard Design Workshop
Saturday, November 23 @ 1pm -3pm
at POP Learning Orchard at The Woodlands

Join the POP team for a special little treat of an afternoon talking about Orchard Design at the POP Learning Orchard. We will meet in the warmth of the hoophouse to discuss different design approaches and considerations using POP community orchards and food forests as case studies. We’ll go over plant selection, highlighting climate adaptive plants we love to work with. And then we’ll go out into the orchard to get some hands-on practice in doing soil sampling and creating base maps, a scaled drawing of an existing space, the first step to creating a design.
