The Philadelphia Orchard Group (PHOG) is a listserv intended to connect and support fruit growers in Greater Philadelphia, and is managed by staff members of the Philadelphia Orchard Project. The group is open to orchard caretakers, urban farmers, and backyard fruit growers who wish to share information about fruit-growing, events related to fruit-growing, and questions about fruit-growing. This includes fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, fruiting vines, and edible forest gardens. PHOG posts should be used to share knowledge and information useful to the whole group. Let's create a community of bountiful orchards and knowledgeable orchardists in Philly!

Membership in the PHOG listserv is a requirement for all Philadelphia Orchard Project (phillyorchards.org) community partners. For this reason, it is important that PHOG participants be careful that their posts stay on topic and relevant to the whole list. Before replying to a post, please consider whether the whole list needs to hear your reply or whether it would be better to respond directly to the sender and other relevant parties instead.
