We are excited to host the POP Pest and Disease workshop at the POP Learning Orchard! Now that the orchard is 6 years old, we have many pest and disease issues to show for it. Come get an up close look!
This workshop aims to skill up participants in:
Identifying common orchard pest and diseases
Understanding management options for several common orchard pests and diseases.
We will work in small groups to complete a progressive monitoring walk throughout the orchard to observe, identify, and discuss how to manage different pest and disease issues. There will be demonstrations and hands-on practice of management techniques where possible!
An updated version of the POP Pest and Disease Guide will be made available for all participants.
