So for anyone that updates to next there was a nice feature we merged in the last few days: ublox gps autoconfiguration. This should take care of setting the baudrate of your GPS appropriately and all the setting you need.
Please let us know if you have any issues with this, but I think it should save people a lot of hassle.

This is great, I have a few of these no flash GPS's. Thank you to whomever did this.
