Hello,

Several people have tried to help me but all have said you would be the only one who could help.

I have been desperately trying to get your counsel concerning using a Revo mini and oplink for vehicle control with TL GCS.

When I plug in the oplink mini, the oplink gadget appears and I am able to configure the oplink.  Unfortunately, when I plug in the revo, the gadget does not appear as it should (or at least does in OP GCS).

I resorted to using the system settings to try and configure it.  The oplink LED goes blue indicating a link with the Revo but when i look in the Dataobjects - Oplinkstatus - Linkstate it says connecting, not connected.

Also the terms are different from the OP GCS in that I can choose oplink in the Input - Type  whereas in TL GCS I cannot.

I have 2 questions:

1)  Can you please give me the exact settings for both the Revo and Oplink to make this work?
2)  Is there any chance you reactivate the Oplink gadget when a revo is plugged in so it can be configured?

I understand this may not seem important to many people but it seems like a crying shame to have to purchase an external LRS system when it is sitting right there.

I would appreciate any and all help you can provide.

Thank you,

Hello,

first of all, make sure that the telemetry speed is the same for the oplink and the revo.

secondly, make sure the the radioport is enabled in the config gadget of the revo.

then connect the oplink and simply put power to the revo, but not via usb or the revo will act like a computer is plugged and the telemtry goes via usb in priority.

on the oplink config you should see the revo link signal and it should auto-connect.

That almost sounds right to me. However, two distinctions:
1. the telemetry speed on revo does not have to be explicitly set
2. when you plug in the oplink or pipxtreme, make sure to enable the "Coordinator" check box in the config page

All this was done.  The problem is how do I set the input channels to oplink if I can't connect the computer?

So once that is done, if you power the RevoMini (not by USB) you should see the link light go blue. After that GCS should establish a connection to the board. Does that happen for you?  I may have to see if I have anything that outputs PPM to feed into the PipXtreme to test it.

Peabody,

Please find my config file attached.  As I said, it is freshly flashed and the only thing I tried to do is configure the link.

Thanks.

Ok, I looked into this some and I don't fully recall how to configure it. However the way it is currently implemented isn't very awesome so I'm working on it.
