Tau Labs has a new stable build has been released for Tau Labs: https://github.com/TauLabs/TauLabs/releases/tag/20131212

It runs on linux, windows, and OSX and supports FlyingF3, Quanton, Sparky, CopterControl, and FlyingF4.

Please try it out and let us know how it goes!  This is the recommended starting software for anyone new to Tau Labs.  From the release notes:

Numerous features and bug fixes since the last release, including:

  • HoTT telemetry and receiver support
  • Safety fixes

has the firmware for the flyingf3 been updated in this release?  should i reflash my board? or is this just the GCS updated? thanks

All the firmware targets were updated as well. I would update if you want one of the new features listed above. If not and you are just having a good time flying, don't risk breaking it!

Thanks sir, i have yet to fly it. i have the 2013.07.13 build, and it seems to be working fine, sensors are displaying properly, i have yet to set it up and try to fly it! Wish me luck :D

i built my own breakout board, so hopefully i did it right also
